Skype Extending its Service to Mobile

Skype is big name in VIOP domain. Skype has well known Desktop application for text Chatting, audio and Video conferencing. Its services are used for both personal and corporate. Skype is now extending its services to mobile also. It is expected that Skype will soon release the application for iPhone 4 for mobile video chatting. It will also extend its services to other operating system also.

Skype released its first apps in April 2009 for iPhone, and within few months Skype also released parallel apps for other platforms also such as Android and windows.

Rumor is all around that Skype is coming with video chat for Facebook. Facebook is social networking site with 500 million users and it is expected to have video chat functionality in it.

Skype apps for mobile can be use for mob-to-mob, mob-to-PC video chatting. It not Skye who is first in this type of application for mobile, Nokia N900 already has the application for mobile video chatting.
