Why Google Android Application Development?

Google’s Android has transformed the world to a great extent. Half of global Smartphone users use Android OS in their devices. This has also accelerated the android application development business. The process of developing application for android is very similar to the iPhone application development. Today, it is easy to find an android app developer online.

Phones running on Android OS are pretty much simple to navigate. They support most of the features available in modern mobile technology. The same features facilitate developers to work on a variety of apps for a variety of business communities. Android is slowly but constantly becoming leader among other Smartphone platforms. The reason is simple –businesses think Android has wider reach if compared with iPhone and others.

Businesses have admitted that it is now almost compulsory to have an Android app because it allows them to get connected with every potential buyer. The mobile based online world provides targeted customers but without a creative and original idea, it is hard to survive among rivals. Android app gives the same creativity and originality in the form of application that helps business drive traffic of consumers.

If you also have requirement of Android app, it’s better to hire professional developers to get it developed. Though you must do a lot of web search before finalizing the project deal with a particular company. Shortlist a company on the basis of their portfolio; test the originality and the source of testimonials; check users feedback for other apps created by the developer; set a deadline for work completion; and ask for changes until you receive the best result. The next step the developer will do is - release the app on Google Play’s Android application section. That’s all.

Native mobile application development Vs Web mobile application development

With advancement in the web technology, the methods of mobile app development are getting smarter. However, a debate is becoming exclusive. This debate is about proving that how native mobile application development is better than web application development or vice-versa. Both sides’ developers have their arguments and they want to prove their method better than others. Some developers established third method which is in fact the combination of web app development and mobile application development.

But, native mobile application development is still in fashion, providing dynamic content. Some reasons are as follows:

Push Notifications

If you have smartphone installed with Facebook app or Twitter app, and signed-in to account, you can probably get push notifications. These are messages that popup regardless the app is active or not. Push notification is only possible in native apps but with web based apps, it is absolutely not possible.

User Interface

For each web based application, high quality user interface simply means greater loading time. This issue does not appear with native application because by installing an app, the interface is installed in the user’s device. Native apps can deliver high quality user interface but it is not possible with web based applications.

Icons

Well, it is possible to create an icon by bookmarking a web app but not everyone is aware of this method. Native apps automatically create icon and it makes native apps easy to find and easy to get launched. For launching a web app, user requires to write its URL in address bar. It seems to be a headache.

It’s your world, it’s your property.

By installing the paid native apps, user gets feeling of owing the application. But this feeling doesn’t come when you use web based application. Native app is your world and you can keep it installed in your device as long as you want. You have total control over a native application but this is not possible with web based application.

These points prove that native apps are still better than web apps but it doesn’t mean that the development of web apps is just a waste. Many developers found the web mobile application development method pretty interesting thus they prefer to embed some pages of an application on web and others in native app which help developers in minimizing the application size and in providing updated data.
