With advancement in the web technology, the methods of mobile app development are getting smarter. However, a debate is becoming exclusive. This debate is about proving that how native mobile application development is better than web application development or vice-versa. Both sides’ developers have their arguments and they want to prove their method better than others. Some developers established third method which is in fact the combination of web app development and mobile application development.
But, native mobile application development is still in fashion, providing dynamic content. Some reasons are as follows:
Push Notifications
If you have smartphone installed with Facebook app or Twitter app, and signed-in to account, you can probably get push notifications. These are messages that popup regardless the app is active or not. Push notification is only possible in native apps but with web based apps, it is absolutely not possible.
User Interface
For each web based application, high quality user interface simply means greater loading time. This issue does not appear with native application because by installing an app, the interface is installed in the user’s device. Native apps can deliver high quality user interface but it is not possible with web based applications.
Icons
Well, it is possible to create an icon by bookmarking a web app but not everyone is aware of this method. Native apps automatically create icon and it makes native apps easy to find and easy to get launched. For launching a web app, user requires to write its URL in address bar. It seems to be a headache.
It’s your world, it’s your property.
By installing the paid native apps, user gets feeling of owing the application. But this feeling doesn’t come when you use web based application. Native app is your world and you can keep it installed in your device as long as you want. You have total control over a native application but this is not possible with web based application.
